Welcome to Wringer

Wringer
For as long as Palmer LaRue can remember, he has dreaded the day he will turn ten and begin to kill, with his own hands, wounded pigeons at the annual pigeon shoot. Being a wringer is an honor, a tradition passed down from father to son. From Newbery Medal winner Spinelli comes a gripping tale of how one boy learns how to overcome his fears.

  1. Today I'm going to be talking about the characteristics of Beans.

First, I would like to say he doesn't care for many people. Like at the birthday party when he was singing happy birthday for Palmer. They belted out Snots ( a name they made up for him ). Also when they went outside to go find this girl in Palmer's neighborhood they called her Fishface.

Second, i think he's pretty fair because when Palmer lets him play with his soccer ball, he didn't keep it to himself. He offered to let him play with him instead. Sadly, Pamler declined by saying that his leg hurt. This is only my opinion you could think differently.

I'm connecting to Palmer. some of his characteristics are basically he is a nice person and just wants to get cool and popular. So when he turns nine, he joined a group of Beans, Henry and Mutto. But then he also got the treatment and got seven hard jabs in the arm.

Eventually he becomes part of the group.

My character I am going to be describing is Palmer. I belive palmer just wants to be nice because he dosn't like it when they play tricks on Dorothy (nicknamed fishface.)

I think that Palmer is trying hard to fit in with not a lot of sucess.
